Outing with Dada Jie again

an outing with Dada Jie today~ just after she came back from Penang.
firstly, she passed me the bubble gums Selina bought for me! hehehe. thanks Selina~
then she gave me a good luck charm she got from one of the temples there. thanks Dada Jie~
also, she passed me the microphone that XinYan bought last time. hehe. thanks XY~ ^^
anyways. went Toa Payoh first.. cause she wanted to pass something to her friend.
then we went to HMV at Orchard.. see some songs. lol. she bought the 6disc for the price of 1.
heng ah. lucky she took earlier. cus after she took. less than 10mins later, they changed the price of it from $19.95 to $22.95. i faster ask her go pay money. haha.
lucky when pay that time still is $19.95 for her. early bird special? xD
we ate at Central. bad bowl of noodles i ordered. -.-"
peanut sauce and vinegar... wtf. -.-"
Durian Fried Rice was ok.. then Dada Jie ordered the Beef Hor Fun also not bad. the Milk Tea was good too. hahas.
after that.. we went to Zone X at Dhoby Ghaut.. hehe.
played a few rounds of Initial D. 1 round of Para. dam! failed Ultra High Heels. sigh.
thought since i passed it the previous time.. now can pass again. but sad to say.. i didn't. haix.
i will go play it again! i dun believe cant pass.. =/
then played many rounds of Daytona with Dada Jie. lol. she play cheat!! keep bang till my car crash. T_T
anyways. battled a level 23 Subaru on Initial D, with my lvl 4 FD. well. lost to him.
made me realise how efficient it is to have a high levelled car.
if my FD was level 23 too.. guess things would be different.
i can safely say that our skills are on par, if not mine is even better than his.
but due to the higher potential of his car, he always managed to pull away on the straight aways, even though i catch up in the corners.
this got me thinking... so does that mean, even with moderate skills, but with a faster car, you can win?
after much thinking. i can safely say... yes. with a faster car, probably most battles would be yours.
but i guess i will still stick to my FD. perhaps cause i believe more in skills rather than going for a faster car.
maybe.. because i know that when i win with skills, i get a higher sense of satisfaction? rather than knowing i win because i have a car that gives me an over imbalanced advantage over my opponents car.
i believe my FD's speed is considered quite ok already. above average, though not in the high range category. but nevertheless, as said, i will stick to it, and become faster with it! :D
will train more, and brush up my skills together with my FD! xD
we went to play LAN also. 2 rounds of DotA. hehes. used the imbalanced and overpowered Old Medusa. haha.
naturally.. we won. lol. Old Medusa is too imbalanced. hahas.
after that went to Potong Pasir, and i ate at the usual Western Food stall.
after that, as usual, slacked at Macs. haha.
anyways, reached home at ~12am bah.
then my parents are quarrelling again...
haix. i feel so frustrated. why must they always quarrel?...
cant they spare a thought for me?..
i wonder...
i really wonder...
